The Kahneman-Treisman Center's newest initiative is the Behavioral Science Desk. Through a new SPIA partnership, students and faculty from any field can work with senior leaders from ideas42, the world's first and largest non-profit behavioral science innovation lab.
Senior leaders from ideas42 will be available to students and faculty on campus, as well as virtually, by appointment. Set up a visit even if you’re just curious to learn more!
For undergraduate and graduate students:
- Brainstorm new research ideas or learn how to incorporate potentially hidden behavioral insights into your independent research projects–from junior papers and theses to policy papers and dissertations;
- Tap into advice and coaching on professional skills critical to your career such as networking, negotiation, storytelling, persuasion, and project management;

For faculty and post-docs:
- Get advice on setting up and running field research projects;
- Capitalize on research opportunities within ideas42 projects Learn how to identify practitioner collaborators and funders;
- Get valuable coaching on networking, fundraising, implementation, and other professional skills useful for academics interested in field research.
