Event Description

The Kahneman-Treisman Center has launched its Student Affiliate program and welcomes all students (and post-docs, too!) interested in connecting more with a community of scholars and practitioners from any field who find human judgment and decision-making fascinating!

The first session of the semester will feature a discussion of the group's shared winter break reading selection, Why We Fight: The Roots of War and the Paths to Peace by Christopher Blattman. Even if you were not part of the program previously, but are familiar with the book, come discuss with us.

The KTC Student Affiliate group meets bi-weekly for student-initiated and student-led programming, including discussions on timely behavioral science publications and topics, meetings with invited behavioral science practitioners, "works in progress" talks given by Princeton students, and more.

The Spring kick-off meeting on February 20 is a chance for interested students and postdocs to meet up. The program will feature an overview of anticipated events and how attendees can become more involved. Additionally, we will hear from a student who has been using behavioral science methods in his independent work.
