Event Description

KTC Student Affiliates have the opportunity to present their work. Undergraduate SPIA concentrator Marko Petrovic '24 will present his thesis work over lunch, Tuesday, March 19, 12:15pm. The title of his talk is: Transportation Employees and Their Perception Towards Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG).

A well known element of Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) literature speaks to the differences in ESG performance based on firm size — noted as a 'size bias'. While a majority of research has come to this conclusion by exploring reported ESG scores, novel research inquiries explore intra-firm dynamics and whether employees also perceive these size-based differences in ESG performance. Marko's thesis explores how the transportation sector demonstrates 'size bias' and conducts a survey to measure employee perceptions towards ESG within the industry, testing whether this size bias replicates at the employee perception level.

Lunch will be provided for those registering through the link below or by contacting [email protected] prior to Thursday, March 14.
