The Kahneman-Treisman Center is pleased to announce its newest initiative: Behavioral Science Desk. We know Princeton scholar-researchers from a range of disciplines are interested in finding ways to have their work intersect not only the insights of behavioral science but also real-world settings. The world's first and largest non-profit behavioral science innovation lab, ideas42, is partnering with SPIA to bring Princeton students and faculty closer to research and design in the field in our new BSci Desk.
Senior leaders from ideas42 will be available to students and faculty on campus as well as virtually, by appointment.
For undergraduate and graduate students:
- Brainstorm new research ideas or learn how to incorporate potentially hidden behavioral insights into your independent research projects–from junior papers and theses to policy papers and dissertations;
- Tap into advice and coaching on professional skills critical to your career such as networking, negotiation, storytelling, persuasion, and project management;
- Get involved in an ideas42 project.
For faculty and post-docs:
- Get advice on setting up and running field research projects;
- Capitalize on research opportunities within ideas42 projects;
- Learn how to identify practitioner collaborators and funders;
- Get valuable coaching on networking, fundraising, implementation, and other professional skills useful for academics interested in field research.
