Oct. 27, 2022

Behavioral economist and center-affiliated lecturer Varun Gauri, who taught a course in the policy school last year on mitigating the effects of vaccine hesitancy, discusses behavioral strategies for increasing positive communication and engendering trust around issues of public health in recent Nature article. Gauri cites both "nudge" strategies that do not require much effort on the part of the public and regulatory approaches to curbing or eliminating misinformation as areas to emphasize in public health policy.

Princeton alumna Katherine Milkman, James G. Dinan Professor at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, is also quoted in the article.
