Research Interest: Kalie is interested in research that rigorously tests and measures bias against minorities and women, particularly those instances in which minority groups hold bias against other minority groups or themselves. In the future, she plans to conduct impact evaluations on policy designed to address discrimination or reduce structural inequality.
Background: Prior to coming to Princeton to earn her Master's in Public Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School, Kalie spent two years with Innovations for Poverty Action, using randomized controlled trials to evaluate the effectiveness of cash transfers in reducing long-term poverty. She previously worked as a government consultant for the Department of Defense and as a PR account executive for an agency in New York.
