Roni Porat is a postdoctoral research associate at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and the Psychology Department. Her research focuses on emotion, emotion regulation, and intergroup relations in societies engaged in intergroup conflict. Currently she is looking at the role of emotions in processes related to norm perception and norm change. She is also interested in developing and implementing psychological interventions for promoting conflict resolution. Roni received her BA and MA in Government from IDC Herzliya, and her PhD in social psychology from the Hebrew University, in Jerusalem.
